Four deadlines a year, for every client. Missing authorisations, wrong quarter dates, a property business HMRC never heard of. Pre-flight finds them days before the 7th.
Find the problems while there’s still time to fix them.
Scroll through .EWA Practice, screen by screen, with an example practice of 62 clients. The laptop at the top of the page is the one to click around in.
Every client, riskiest first.
How many updates still have to land with HMRC, which clients can’t send, and what to do about each, with Shield’s eight checks as a row of dots.
Your book, read from HMRC.
Income sources, start year and quarter type as HMRC holds them, with record quality so you can price the work, not the turnover.
Prepared, reviewed, approved, sent.
One client’s whole year: the checks, the figures so far and tiered sign-off. Nobody reviews their own work, and the quarter locks once it’s sent.
Whose link is waiting, and whose ran out.
Links last 21 days, with reminders on day 3, 10 and 18. Resend in bulk, and see clients HMRC signed up itself.
Chasing that runs on its own.
A timetable for every client, reminders every three days and a note to the manager if nothing comes back, so the last week isn’t spent chasing.
Proof of what HMRC received.
Confirmed or disputed, never just “submitted”. Each one has an evidence pack: figures, HMRC’s reference, the timeline and a fingerprint of the exact data.

Questions from practices
Do we have to move off our current software?
No. During shadow mode you keep filing with your current software. .EWA will run pre-flight before the deadline and reconcile what HMRC received afterwards, so you can judge it on real quarters before switching anything.
Is .EWA recognised by HMRC?
Recognition is in progress. Filing through .EWA switches on once HMRC approves the software. We’ll never claim otherwise.
Does any AI touch client data?
No. Categorisation and checks are deterministic rules. No financial data is sent to AI models, and every decision can be traced to the rule that made it.
Which clients does it suit?
Unincorporated clients under MTD for Income Tax: sole traders and landlords, including joint property owners. Version one will work on the cash basis; accruals clients are flagged for you to handle.
How does the revenue share work?
For every client you onboard, you receive 30% of their subscription for their first 12 months. Pilot practices also keep .EWA Practice free until May 2027.
